War Chariots

War chariots

War chariots is an intermediate technology that preceded horse riding. The Bronze Age tribes on the territory of Kazakhstan had horses, but those were still small in size at that time. Therefore, the people were able to use them only as pulling transport. They invented wheeled carts for that purpose, because it was much easier for smaller horses to pull them that way. The war chariots were specifically designed for military use. They only had two wheels and were pulled by two horses. This gave chariots never-seen before speed and agility on battlefields.
