First Textiles
The invention of textiles took humanity to the next level. First, humans learned to make yarn from animal fur or plant fiber. Later, ancient engineers invented a loom to weave fabric. With such advanced technology, people learned to weave pieces of fabric from thin threads, and rugs from thick threads. And then they were able to make clothes from pieces of woven fabric.
