Rug weaving
In the Kazakh Khanate, the traditional art of weaving was at its height. The mobile loom, which was first invented in the Bronze Age and almost didn’t change throughout the millennia, served the peoples in the Kazakh Era. Thanks to this technology, Kazakh women made beautiful woven carpets, yurt ties and decorations, and other products. Using traditional materials, such as wool and natural dyes, and designs invented in ancient times, they created masterpieces with great skill that have reached today.
