The invention and wide distribution of felt-making technology allowed the Eurasian nomadic peoples to produce a new artificial material. Sheep and camel wool, the material needed to make felt, was available in virtually unlimited quantities. Therefore, felt was the local renewable material, a true nomadic know-how. Now the Saka tribes started making their clothes and outer covers of the yurts from felt.
