Five-Weapons Combat Complex

Five-Weapons Combat Complex

Unlike in the settled nations of 18-19th century, in the Great Steppe gunpowder weapons did not replace the traditional Five-Weapons combat complex. Instead, guns were naturally added to the Five-Weapons, becoming a part of it. Steppe warriors simply began using muzzle-loaded guns in addition to traditional bows and arrows, spears, swords, axes, and daggers. The art of traditional Five-Weapons has reached its highest peak. The special Kazakh weapons such as spears, sabers, and moon-axe were simply perfect for traditional warfare. However, it was the closing technology of the entire era, as the technological progress forever changed the history of warfare.
