A new, largest in history nomadic state was formed in the Great Steppe in the 13th14th centuries, namely the Empire of Genghisids. One part of it, i.e. the Ulus of Jochi, is directly related to the history of Kazakhstan. This period was the highest peak of the nomadic civilization of the Eurasian Steppe. Many traditional technologies have reached their most advanced state.
