Domestication of Horses
Domestication of horses was one of the most important technologies on the territory of Kazakhstan, and it took place for the first time in history some 5,5 thousand years ago within the famous Botai Culture. Later, horses allowed humans to conquer the previously-uninhabitable Eurasian Steppe plains with its vast open spaces and harsh climate.
