Genetics
Nomadic peoples engaged in animal husbandry on the territory of Kazakhstan learned about the laws of genetics empirically thousands of years ago. However, genetics became a true science only in the 20th century with the discovery of DNA. And in the 21st century, genetics is one of the most promising fields of technology. For example, humans use genetic engineering to improve the traits of livestock and domestic animals and agricultural crops. And in the future, we hope to treat and prevent various genetic diseases, increase human physical and cognitive capabilities.
