Bronze Metallurgy
The discovery of bronze metallurgy influenced the entire Bronze Age, hence the name. Bronze tools and weapons were more durable and of better quality than earlier stone tools and weapons. And the casting method of bronze objects allowed for making of items of various sizes shapes. For that, the ancient metallurgists made cast forms from stone or ceramic, in which they’ve poured molten bronze. Upon cooling and hardening, the finished bronze items were ready to go and added a tremendous advantage to humans’ technological prowess.
