New Architecture
In the 20th century, new types of architecture and construction materials began to be widely used in Kazakhstan. Among them are factory-made bricks, precast concrete panels, cast concrete construction, steel structures, reinforced concrete, and etc. Thanks to the use of such technologies, new large buildings and structures were built. Among them are the 372-meter-high Koktobe TV tower in Almaty, the Palace of the Republic, the 25-story high Kazakhstan Hotel, the main building of the University named after Satbaev, and many other architectural masterpieces.
