Horse Riding
For millennia, horse riding was the next most important tranportation technology after war chariots. Breeding of larger and human-friendly horses allowed to eliminate bulky and expensive chariots, and ride on horseback directly. Horses were one of the most common animal types in Eurasian nomadic economy. Therefore, the nomadic tribes of Kazakhstan got a cheap and readily-available natural transportation, capable of fast and long-distance travelling. From that period on, a true tradition of nomadic horsemanship have emerged in the Great Steppe.
