Building of Settlements

The building of settlements

The building of larger settlements became common at the latest stages of the Stone Age. These places, such as the famous Botai Settlement consisted of several half-dugout houses connected with underground links, and surrounded by horse and sheep corals. Inside of these complex settlements there were common halls, living quarters and places to commense rituals.
